Max Hunter and Josh Hunter from Western Dovetail racing belt sanders at the Accuride BSRA National championship Belt Sander Races in Las Vegas Nevada, July 21st, 2011. Josh and Max took first and second place in the modified division. Josh was racing “The Cloud Lift” the original pull-out drawer racer from the 2010 race at E.B Braley in Hayward, CA (Max won 1st place with The Cloud Lift October 2010) “The Recycle Pull-Out” was built in June 2011 to race at E.B. Bradley in Kent, WA. Max built both racers, but lost against Josh, who was using the slower of the two. The race was won by 0.02 seconds due to Josh’s reaction time being 0.05 seconds faster. This video was shot on my HTC Evo from Sprint. Special thanks to Patrick McCluskey for filming while Josh and I were racing, and for racing and winning while we waited for Josh to arrive. Josh will get his name engraved on the house trophy that travels to all of the races. The recycle pull-out had the fastest time of the day with 2.80 seconds on the 75 foot track.
